The Poal Institute of Rheumatology is a center of diagnosis, treatment and research of rheumatic diseases, with more than 60 years of service in rheumatology and physiotherapy.
We diagnose and treat osteoarthritis, lupus, arthritis, pain in the spine, shoulder, hip, knee, hands and elbows, as well as osteoporosis and other pathologies. We also perform joint checkups and specialized physical training.

Ultrasound-Guided Barbotage for Calcifying Tendinopathy

Director of the Poal Institute and pioneer in Spain in musculoskeletal ultrasound. She combines clinical practice with teaching and medical research.
Doctor Luis Coronel
Specialist in rheumatology, musculoskeletal ultrasound, capillaroscopy, arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, osteoporosis and sports medicine.
Kirsten Martinez
Physiotherapist, acupuncturist, osteopath and teacher. Her approach combines therapy, attentive listening and an understanding of each condition.
