Musculoskeletal ultrasound
Ultrasound, a differential factor.
We are a pioneering center in musculoskeletal ultrasound. This tool is integrated into the consultation and allows joints, tendons and soft tissues to be studied in real time.
Early diagnosis
Ultrasound allows early detection of changes in joints and soft tissues, which is essential for early diagnosis of diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and other conditions. This favors more effective treatment and better management of the disease.
Fewer visits and tests
In rheumatology, ultrasound reduces the need for additional testing by providing detailed information efficiently. In this way it speeds up the diagnostic and therapeutic process.
Accurate and real-time evaluation
Ultrasound provides real-time images and highly detailed vision, allowing anatomical structures and inflammation to be dynamically assessed. It is especially useful for observing joint movement and the presence of effusions.
Safe, radiation-free monitoring
Ultrasound allows us to follow the progression of the disease and the response to treatment, making it easier to adjust therapy according to progress. Unlike X-rays or CT scans, it does not use ionizing radiation, making it a safe option for patients who require repeated evaluations.
